Mah Sing Celebrates 8.4million Safe Man Hours During Topping Up Ceremony Of Lakeville Residence’s 4 Towers And Facilities Podium

Kuala Lumpur, 2017 – Mah Sing Group Berhad (Mah Sing) today celebrated 8.4million safe man-hours during the topping up ceremony of Lakeville Residence’s Tower A & B, Tower E & F and its 3.11-acre facilities podium.

This is the Group’s third topping up ceremony thus far in 2017, after The Loft@Southbay and Savanna Executive Suites at Southville City, KL South just last month.

In attendance during the event were Mah Sing’s Group Managing Director, Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Leong Hoy Kum, Mah Sing’s Chief Executive Officer, Datuk Ho Hon Sang, senior management of Mah Sing as well as consultants and contractors which were involved in the development of the project.

Lakeville Residence located along Jalan Kuching consists of 6 towers, 4 of which were involved in the topping up ceremony. Tower A & B are currently 86% completed while Tower E & F’s current progress stands at 60%. Both are on track for completion in Q1 and Q3 2018 respectively. Lakeville Residence’s remaining Tower C & D which were launched later are also on track, at 16% completion.

Mah Sing’s Group Managing Director, Tan Sri Leong Hoy Kum said, “We are very happy to celebrate this significant 8.4million safe man-hours and timely delivery. This highlights the high level of commitment and dedication of the project managers and contractors, who have been working diligently to ensure the development remains on track for completion for our buyers, while maintaining our quality standards.”

Launched in 2014, the current take-up rate of the entire development stands at approximately 90%, with Tower A & B being completely sold out.

The integrated development offers residential suites with built-ups ranging from 977 sq ft to 1,365 sq ft, while the 3 and 4-storey lifestyle shops fronting Jalan Sibu has built-ups starting from 4,651 sq ft. Lakeville Residence has an estimated gross development value (GDV) of RM1.5billion.

Convenient Connectivity

Strategically located along Jalan Kuching, Lakeville Residence is also easily accessible via major roads such as Jalan Ipoh, Jalan Kepong, Duta-Ulu Kelang Expressway (DUKE) and the Middle Ring Road (MRR) 2.

These linkages places the development just minutes away to nearby matured townships and only a stone’s throw away from amenities such as public transportation, schools, commercial business centres, convenience stores and healthcare facilities. Local and international education institutes located nearby include SJKC Mun Choong, SMK Batu Lima, SMK Hillcrest, Baseerah International School, the International Islamic School and the British Malaysian Institute.

Mah Sing’s Chief Executive Officer, Datuk Ho Hon Sang said, “One of the key factors of a successful development is its strategic location. In planning a project, we always ensure our buyers get the best, not only in terms of quality, but connectivity as well. Lakeville has proven that its convenient placement right in the heart of Jalan Kuching  has been a strong driving force, as Towers A and B are completely sold out.”

The Sri Delima station in the recently approved MRT Line 2 alignment is located approximately 700m walking distance from Lakeville Residence. There is also a proposed shuttle bus service next to Lakeville Residence, to the MRT station. Taman Wahyu KTM Station is also located a mere 1.5km from the development.

One of KL’s Largest Skyparks

The ceremony also saw the topping up of Lakeville Residence’s 3.11-acre nature-themed facilities podium.

“Buyers today don’t just buy a home, they buy a lifestyle. With Lakeville, we developed one of the biggest sky parks in Kuala Lumpur so that it has ample facilities to cater to all walks of life. Lakeville boasts 38 different points of view and 38 amenities in its sky park that is not only aesthetically pleasing but also enhances their lives with various activities they can experience”, added Datuk Ho.

Occupying 25% of the entire development, it offers 10 themed features which include ‘relaxing’, ‘tranquil’, ‘playful’, ‘calming’, ‘invigorating’ and ‘delectable’.

Among other trendy facilities in the RM141million facilities podium are the 50m lap pool, wading pool, pool deck, aqua gym, tea garden, meditation deck, maze garden, playground, futsal court, jogging track and BBQ pits. Further to this, there will also be a badminton court located in the clubhouse for the residents’ convenience.
