KUALA LUMPUR, September 20 — LBS Bina Group Bhd and Zhuhai Jiuzhou Group Holdings Ltd signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for the upgrading of the Zhuhai International Circuit (ZIC) in Zhuhai City of China.
According to a statement from LBS, the company has been successfully managing the circuit since 2002.
“We plan to establish a cultural museum, a one-stop centre and a Made-in-Malaysia Excellence exhibition hall within the Zhuhai International Circuit.
“This is made possible with the strong support of the Melaka state government,” LBS Managing Director Tan Sri Lim Hock San said.
The signing ceremony in Melaka was witnessed by Melaka Yang di-Pertua Negeri Tun Datuk Seri Utama Mohd Khalil Yaakob, Chief Minister Datuk Seri Idris Haron and Governor of Guangdong Province Zhu Xiaodan.
LBS Bina Group takes great honour in playing a major transformation role in enhancing the China-Malaysia bilateral business ties, Tan said.
ZIC’s Transformation Plan encompasses the Zhuhai National High-Tech Zone becoming a regional comprehensive service centre; introducing and integrating motorsports into a modern urban life in an open way; and creating a regional tourism centre with a special attraction in the Northern District of Zhuhai.
It will also establish a multi-cultural centre to encourage cultural exchanges with the Melaka Cultural Museum and a Made-in-Malaysia Excellence exhibition hall.
