KSK Land hosts wellness session with Atilia Haron

2 October 2017, Kuala Lumpur – Sitting crossed-leg in lotus posture on their mats, ready to connect their minds to their body amid soft music, a group of yoga enthusiasts joined singer-song writer cum certified yoga instructor, Atilia Haron, for a morning yoga workout session at the luxurious 8 Conlay sales gallery.

‘The Whole Story’ is part of KSK Land’s on-going initiative to curate 8 Conlay as a ‘Confluential’ place dedicated to luxury lifestyles. According to KSK Group Berhad Group CEO and KSK Land Managing Director, Joanne Kua, “Working together with our hospitality partner, Kempinski Hotels, Europe’s oldest luxury hotelier, we have embarked on a journey to enable 8 Conlay residents to experience unique luxury lifestyles through the arts, culture, travel and wellness activities.”

‘Confluential’ represents a marriage of confluence, confidence and influential. It is an extension of KSK Land and Kempinski going beyond material luxury. Elaborating on wellness being the new must-have luxury, Joanne Kua said, “Increasing awareness on health and wellness is slowly changing the way people eat and live. That’s why consumers, especially discerning millennials, value transformational experiences more than luxury materials. With this wellness event, we hope to provide a platform for our residents and buyers to indulge in experiences that promote their personal well-being.”

“That’s the reason why at ‘YOO8 serviced by Kempinski’, the branded residence units of 8 Conlay, we place great emphasis on creating sufficient communal spaces at the Water Lounge on 26th floor and Green Refuge on the 44th floor featuring facilities like gymnasium, sauna and a yoga deck . These area will allow residents to get together and engage in wellness activities,” Joanne Kua added.

Supporting wellness as a new way of living, CEO and founder of ‘YogaOneThatIWant Studio’, Atilia Haron, said, “I think life is all about achieving the right balance. From the right diet, physical fitness to mental wellness. The awareness for healthy lifestyle has always been there, but it was never highlighted and shared much in the past as opposed to now. Yoga and other fitness practices have grown phenomenally over the past few years and you can see a lot of people just putting it out on social media. They’re just posting about being healthy, being well. It’s a positive change.”

Due for completion in 2020, 8 Conlay will comprise two branded residence towers called YOO8 serviced by Kempinski, the five-star Kempinski Hotel Kuala Lumpur, and an innovative retail component strategically located in the heart of the Kuala Lumpur city centre. Kempinski will manage the hospitality for the branded residence towers, providing residents with ala carte hotel services such as housekeeping and general concierge services. In addition to the suites, Kempinski will also operate and manage the Kempinski Hotel Kuala Lumpur.

More than a yoga studio, ‘YogaOneThatIWant Studio’ has become a destination for healthy living. ‘YogaOneThatIWant Studio’ is committed to better health by offering other fitness classes such as Zumba, Acroyoga, Mini Bootcamp and Pilates.
