PETALING JAYA, 3 APRIL: Kerjaya Prospek Group Bhd has been awarded a construction contract worth RM31.60 million for a housing development in Penang.
In a filing with Bursa Malaysia last Friday, the group said its wholly-owned subsidiary Kerjaya Prospek (M) Sdn Bhd has accepted a letter of award from Bina BMK Sdn Bhd in relation to the contract.
The contract is for the main building works for a proposed development project comprising 32 units of three-storey terrace houses in Penang undertaken by E&O Property (Penang) Sdn Bhd.
The works to be undertaken by Kerjaya Prospek commenced on March 22, 2017 and due for completion on Sept 21, 2018.
The group expects the contract to further increase and enhance its existing order book as well as contribute positively to its earnings and net assets per share for the financial years ending 2017 and 2018. – The Sun
