PETALING JAYA, 16 June: Mass Rapid Transit Corporation Sdn Bhd (MRT Corp) has awarded the Work Package S203 of the MRT Sungai Buloh-Serdang-Putrajaya (SSP) Line to IJM Construction Sdn Bhd worth RM342.18m.
MRT Corp said in a statement the contract is for construction and completion of elevated stations and other associated works at Sri Delima, Kampung Batu, Kentonmen and half-sunken station at Jalan Ipoh.
The award was made after a meeting by the One Stop Procurement Committee chaired by Finance Minister Datuk Seri Najib Abdul Razak.
The tender for Work Package S203, which is in the open category, commenced on Nov 29, 2016 and ended on February 20, 2017. A total of seven companies had submitted tenders for this Work Package.
IJM Construction is also the work package contractor for V203 for the construction of the elevated guideway and other associated works from Jinjang to the Jalan Ipoh North Escape Shaft.
