Highlights of REHDA Johor 40th Annual General Meeting

JOHOR BAHRU, 23 May: Well known developer YBhg Dato’ Steve Chong was elected the Chairman of the Real Estate Housing Developers’ Association (REHDA) Johor Branch at the conclusion of its 40th Annual General Meeting held on Wednesday, 11 May 2016 at Mutiara Hotel, Johor Baharu.

He and his Branch Committee Members shall hold office from 2016 to 2018. REHDA Johor also welcomes the successful admissions of two new Committee Members namely YBhg Dato Tan Seng Leong and Ku Hwa Seng .

Of the 127 REHDA Member Companies, a record of 74 Official Representatives turned up for the AGM which was officiated by Datuk Muztaza, Secretary General of REHDA Malaysia; representing REHDA President, Datuk Seri Fateh Iskandar.

REHDA Johor Chairperson Hoe Mee Ling for the session 2014/15 convened the AGM by welcoming Datuk Muztaza, branch committee and all members who attended. She also highlighted various activities organized, meetings with the authorities, seminars organised by REHDA Johor and some updates on the outlook of Johor property market.

The AGM was preceded by a talk by eminent lawyer YBhg Dato’ Pretam Singh on Criminalising on Non Payment of Service and Maintenance Charges by Strata Unit Owners. All attendees were treated to a buffet lunch at the hotel at the end of the AGM.
