Good take-up for double-storey terraces launched in Setia Alam

SHAH ALAM, 30 August : S P Setia launched its double-storey terrace homes in the northern sanctuary of Setia Alam, in Precinct 17, to a good take up response of 85% last weekend. The launch featured Opacus with a built-up from 1,708 sq ft (18 x 65) and Albida with a built-up from 1,956 sq ft (20 x 65) respectively.

Prices start from RM578,000 for Opacus and RM638,000 for Albida with early birds enjoying a 3% discount. “We are confident that the remaining units will sell out very soon as Setia Alam has matured over the past 10 years with careful planning, continuous landscaping, proper maintenance and a growing community with approximately 15,000 properties completed and handed over to date.

Everything we did added value to the township and purchasers are keen to be a part of this thriving township,” said Tan Siow Chung, General Manager of Bandar Setia Alam. Prospective buyers were seen lining up outside Setia Alam Welcome Centre since Wednesday onwards to own a unit of this freehold landed property. Both Opacus and Albida are located in Precinct 17 in the northern enclave of Setia Alam, also known as Setia Alam North, where it is anchored by a 20-acre wetland sanctuary.

This prime location is also home to the award-winning Setia Urban Park and the Setia Taipan commercial strip providing residents with not only a balanced and holistic green lifestyle that encourages community living but utmost convenience as well with its close proximity to amenities at the commercial strip. Setia Alam North spans approximately 700-acre and is located just one kilometre north of Setia City, the central green hub of Setia Alam.

Besides that, residents can also indulge in retail therapy at Setia City Mall or the various exhibitions, concerts, events and more that take place at Setia City Convention Centre. Banking facilities, F&B outlets, clinics and education institutions are abundant in the township and are all located just around the corner. Construction for both Opacus and Albida will commence in September 2016 with targeted delivery by September 2018.

“Despite the recent market slowdown, we believe that we have the breadth of quality products coupled with the established Setia brand name as a trusted and reputable developer, we are confident that our launches will continue to deliver great performances such as this,” Tan added. Earlier this year, Setia Alam also launched Retusa, 3-storey linked semi-detached homes which are fully sold as well as Edulis, 3-storey terrace homes which are already 96% sold, with only limited units available.

Both Retusa and Edulis are also located in the northern sanctuary of Setia Alam in Precinct 11. Setia Alam, spanning 2,525 acres is a multiple award-winning township in Shah Alam. This freehold township comprising residential and commercial components is approximately 60% developed with recent launches including the high-rise residential Setia City Residences located just next to Setia City Mall in the green hub of Setia City, De Palma and De Kiara Rumah Selangorku affordable apartments.
