9 MARCH, PETALING JAYA : Crafted to cater to post-pandemic residential and work near home (WNH) trends, the preview of Enso Woods in the 1,503-acre Gamuda Cove, Gamuda Land’s smart, sustainable township in Southern Klang Valley, has seen full first batch uptake in its opening weekend, showcasing the developer’s forward-looking approach in the new norm.

Comprising 203 double and triple-storey garden terrace homes across its first phase, the first batch, encompassing 100 homes, was fully snapped up by eager home seekers at the Gamuda Cove Experience Gallery during the weekend preview. The strong market response highlights continuing demand for residential property in strategic hotspots, particularly those designed with evolving consumer requirements in mind.

Inspired by the Japanese decluttering concept of danshari and featuring modern, minimalist aesthetics, Enso Woods spearheads Gamuda Land’s post-pandemic design initiative with flexible, open layouts giving residents the versatility to live, work and play at home with ease. In addition, its Community Pavilion leverages on the emerging WNH paradigm – the next normal balancing conventional office and work from home (WFH) routines – allowing Enso Woods owners to enjoy the best of both worlds.

Designed in step with changing times

“Home seekers have new priorities in the new norm. Enso Woods addresses these at every turn, and our strong weekend uptake, despite a cautious market and economic uncertainty, is a testament to this. Our timely delivery of these post-pandemic features, even with the challenges posed by recurring lockdowns, can be attributed to our core townmaking principles. Many of these are in line with what home seekers want following recent movement control orders (MCOs), so accommodating them was a natural extension of the vision that has driven us all these years,” said Wong Yik Fong, General Manager of Gamuda Cove.

Spanning 38 acres in the township’s northern residential precincts, Enso Woods features builtups from 1,713 sq ft to 2,956 sq ft, with three-bedroom to five-bedroom layouts and lot sizes ranging from 20’ x 65’ to 34’ x 60’. Keeping in mind the focus of Malaysian home seekers on value-driven property offerings in the new norm, first-time buyer prices for the project’s garden terrace homes start from RM580,000

Adding to their value proposition, Enso Woods homes cater for rising consumer demand for connections to nature, open spaces, multifunctional rooms, natural lighting and ventilation, high-speed connectivity and more when looking for properties.

Enso Woods units include private green terraces and gardens of up 1,500 sq ft, along with 195 sq ft rooftop terraces for selected homes, allowing owners and residents to get closer to nature from the comfort of their own homes. Meanwhile, Gamuda Cove’s 60-acre, pet-friendly central park is just a 10-minute walk away, while the surrounding Paya Indah Discovery Wetlands and Forest Park offer exciting outdoors activities close to nature such as horse riding and boat cruises.

Convergence of work, play and home

Home seekers are prioritising open, versatile spaces as recurring MCOs underscore the shortcomings of conventional, cramped residential designs. With this in mind, Enso Woods’ design boosts visual expansion of space within unit interiors, creating clear, unrestricted sightlines between spaces to promote feelings of freedom even under lockdown.

Enso Woods also features flexible lifestyle corners encouraging multifunctional space usage, allowing for eat, work, play and rest activities within the home space while safeguarding privacy. In addition, double volume spaces enhance natural lighting and ventilation, with positive impacts for health and wellbeing.

The project also offers remote workers the benefit of next-generation connectivity with 5G infrastructure powered by Maxis. This connectivity facilitates both WFH and WNH productivity, while enabling diverse smart home and automation functions.

Community Pavilion for WNH convenience

While accommodating WFH routines, Enso Woods also offers owners and residents the best of both worlds with the Community Pavilion located within the precinct, allowing them to work near home in proximity to their families.

The Community Pavilion includes a range of WNH facilities built around a central urban farming zone, including individual working pods, a plug and play zone with bar seating, cascade seating encouraging more dynamic work flows, and a meeting/dining room with retractable screen for group sessions.

Enso Woods and the Community Pavilion are slated for completion by 2024. By then, owners and residents can enjoy surrounding amenities in Gamuda Cove such as the Discovery Park, Paya Indah Discovery Wetlands, SplashMania and Townsquare.

Gamuda Cove itself is located next to the Kuala Langat Forest Reserve. With proximity to major routes such as the North-South Expressway Central Link (Elite Highway) and the South Klang Valley Expressway (SKVE), the township is set to be the vibrant new epicentre of Southern Klang Valley.

The balance 103 units in Phase 1 of Enso Woods will be opened for booking this weekend, Saturday, 13 March to Sunday, 14th March. Those interested can visit the Gamuda Cove Experience Gallery to learn more from Gamuda Land’s friendly Relationship Associates, or call 03-9212 3064 to book a tour of Enso Woods.
