18 MARCH,JOHOR BAHRU – Country View Group has donated 10,000 pcs of face masks, 250 pcs of face shields and 250 pcs of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to Bulan Sabit Merah Malaysia, Cabang Johor Bahru under their Sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility Program 2021 at its Nusa Sentral Sales Gallery today.
In attendance were the Chairman of Bulan Sabit Merah Malaysia, Cabang Johor Bahru, Yang Berbahagia Mr Chong Ah Ng PIS PPN BKT and its committee members. Country View Group was represented by its Group General Manager, Mr Francis Yee and members of Country View Group Sustainability & Risk Management Committee.
A Social Initiative to Curb the Spread of COVID-19
Country View Group as a responsible corporate citizen has in place a Sustainability Policy since 22 January 2019 and the Group is constantly looking forward to play our role in assisting the Community in achieving a better living environment by contributing towards various sustainable and socially responsible efforts this year and in the near future.
As everyone is aware by now, this pandemic and the challenges our community and country are facing since the beginning of Year 2020 has strained our country’s healthcare system/infrastructure. As a Corporate Citizen in our community, Country View Group would like to assist in whatever ways possible to help our healthcare frontliners and our country to overcome this pandemic and to curb the spread of COVID-19 in order for our daily lives, our economic activities and the community to be back on our feet in a new normal. During these difficult times, Country View Group is always with you. Together, we will come out of this pandemic stronger and build a more sustainable living environment. The Group hopes that with this effort, it can bring more care and assistance to the Rakyat and at the same time assist Bulan Sabit Merah Malaysia in their noble efforts to overcome this pandemic.
