Cornerstone International Properties expects London Spring Place phase 2 to perform better

KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 23 — Cornerstone International Properties, the marketing agent for London Spring Place (LSP) in Malaysia, expects sales from the second phase of the project to perform better than the first.

Cornerstone International Properties Director Virata Thaivasigamony said he was optimistic of the outcome as more Malaysians began to see the benefit of investing in the UK student property market.

“There is an undersupply for these type of properties in the UK and to narrow the supply-demand gap, the UK government has excluded student property from capital gains tax in addition to relief from rental income tax.
