November 13, KUCHING – The state government today was asked to immediately implement the construction of people-friendly houses as promised to qualified applicants, especially in Balingian.
Abdul Yakub Arbi (BN-Balingian) said this in the debate to support the State 2018 budget during the State Legislative Assembly sitting here today.
He also praised the state government for allocating RM232 million for affordable housing and people-friendly housing projects.
In supporting the State 2018 budget, Abdul Yakub said the budget which allocated RM3.063 billion (53 percent) for rural development showed the government’s seriousness in developing the rural areas which is still lagging behind in terms of facilities.
