Completion Of Covered Walkway To Kg Selamat MRT station In D’sara Sentral Adds Value To Retails Shops

Sungai Buloh, 2017 Mah Sing Group Berhad’s (Mah Sing) transit-oriented development, D’sara Sentral has completed the construction of its covered walkway which connects the development directly to the Kg Selamat MRT station. The station is now only 4 minutes away from D’sara Sentral’s Retail Shops.

The completion of the covered walkway is very timely as the entire Sungai Buloh-Kajang MRT Line is now fully operational with a special 50% discount for MRT users until 31 August 2017.

Mah Sing’s Group Managing Director said, “We want to bring convenience to our buyers, and the best way to achieve this is by offering a development in a strategic location such as D’sara Sentral which is situated right opposite the Kg Selamat MRT station. With D’sara Sentral, we focus on its connectivity and accessibility. We further enhance the accessibility by developing a covered walkway which shortens the walking distance to the MRT station. We are proud to announce that it has been fully constructed.”

“With the improved public transport infrastructure, we believe that it will further enhance quality of life and the economy of the country. We laud the government’s initiative on the improvement as well as the successful delivery of the MRT Line 1, which marks another milestone of the country’s grand plan to move towards being a developed nation,” added Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Leong.

Direct access to Retail Shops in D’sara Sentral

There are a total of 105 units of Retail Shops spread across the 2 and 4-storey commercial component of D’sara Sentral. With the covered walkway now ready for use, visitors coming from the Kg Selamat MRT station will be able to easily access the retail part of the development.

The retail component is currently 85% taken up and is scheduled for vacant possession (VP) in March 2018. The VP of the project is timely as businesses in the Retail Shops will get to enjoy the ready catchment of 4,300 residents within the development as well as the nearby community.

“It is anticipated that D’sara Sentral will be the “catalyst of growth” in the Sungai Buloh area. Upon completion, it will be able to garner a following to the place due to the lack of entertainment centers and activities in the area at the moment. It has a potential to become the hotspot for people to gather because of its promising outlook of retail shops as well as convenient accessibility,” said Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Leong.

There will be a further boost of population growth in the area as it is located near to a 2,330 acres of Kwasa Damansara project which is currently under development. Upon the completion of the project, it is estimated to have about 150,000 people residing in that area.
