Ativo Suites celebrates major construction milestone with topping-out ceremony

26 MARCH, PETALING JAYA – The landmark residential development, Ativo Suites at Damansara Avenue, reached a high milestone and celebrated its topping-out in a ceremony held today.

Following Azelia Residence, Ativo Suites is the second and the latest residential chapter to be completed in the ongoing development of Damansara Avenue – a 48-acre mixed-use superhub by award-winning property developer TA Global. Unfolded right at the heart of the masterplan, Ativo Suites centres on accessibility and convenience. Not only it is flanked by two vibrant retail and dining hotspots, namely Ativo Plaza and the newly established DA Square @ Damansara Avenue (the latter of which houses Malaysia’s first UNIQLO roadside community-based store), an upcoming pedestrian link bridge to the Sri Damansara Sentral MRT station easily connects it to the greater part of Kuala Lumpur.

The robust, self-contained quality continues within. Upon full completion, the freehold twotower serviced apartment will house 668 units fitted with a curated selection of branded appliances and smart-home system. A multitude of sky facilities – the very first in the mature neighbourhood of Bandar Sri Damansara – too has been designed to complement the multifaceted lifestyle of its inhabitants.

General Manager of TA Global, Lee Yen Foong, and those closely involved in the project, including representatives of GDP Architects and main contractor Pesona Metro, participated in the commemorative moment by laying a final trowel of concrete on the top floor of the building. Traditionally, the gesture marks the accomplishment of a significant construction milestone. In the context of Ativo Suites, it is also a public showcase of its developer’s commitment to deliver homes of exceptional style and craftsmanship, in accordance to the requirements of BuildQAS. A stringent assessment comparable to that of the Construction Quality Assessment System (CONQUAS) used in Singapore, BuildQAS benchmarks the handover quality of a newly completed building.

To date, Ativo Suites recorded a take-up rate of 90% and are on track to be completed by the end of this year as scheduled. The next phase of Damansara Avenue, Ativo Annexe, also shows good progress as it enters the last mile of the planning stage. Perpetuating the masterplan’s integrated effort, Ativo Annexe – with an estimated GDV of RM 3 billion – will balance multiple components, such as office and residential towers, a mall, a medical centre, serviced suites and senior living apartments, all within its 15-acre precinct. Meanwhile, the construction of the proposed link bridge connecting to the Sri Damansara Sentral MRT station is slated to commence in the 4th quarter of this year.
