6 March, SEREMBAN – The township of Seremban 2 was abuzz with festive activity recently as more than 10,000 visitors thronged to Seremban 2’s City Park to celebrate an exciting Chap Goh Mei celebration hosted by IJM Land Berhad. Celebrated with the theme ‘Reunion in S2 with Joys Anew’ ‘元宵团圆，喜乐年年’, IJM Land did not fail to impress, as this annual event on IJM Land’s calendar kicked off with a fanfare of activities which left residents gleeful and joyous to the heart.
Truly an impressive day with a packed programme starting from as early as 7.00am with the yearly Chinese Calligraphy Competition, Seremban 2’s City Park took on an animated affair in the evening as visitors were entertained with an acrobatic high-pole lion dance performance by the Persatuan Kesenian Gui Qing; a Chinese Orchestra 5-piece band by Efficient Music and also a performance by Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Chan Wa’s 24 Seasons Drum to add to the merriment of the event respectively; along with other fun-filled activities such as Chinese riddles, a food street and fun games to be enjoyed.
Having earned a reputation for providing a day of festival fun, laughter, music, variety performances and displays, IJM Land’s Senior General Manager, Dato’ Hoo Kim See said that organising and celebrating this annual event with their supportive residents and potential buyers of Seremban 2 have always been a meaningful activity for the major property developer to continue the tradition.

Never a dull moment, for the fifth time consecutively, IJM Land’s Chap Goh Mei Celebration was also graced with a spectacular Chap Goh Mei Concert with the theme ‘Symphony of Love’ by a star-studded cast of ASTRO artistes and celebrities including Jiang Han, Yoke, Geraldine, Kelly, Chris, Chezi, and many other well-known individuals in the Astro family as well, performing their special concert that left visitors delighted and swaying to the music with joy.
