A fun community run at Tropicana Heights

20th September 2017, Kajang – Property developer, Tropicana Corporation Berhad (“Tropicana”) painted the award-winning township of Tropicana Heights with a vibrant mood of fun, where over 600 participants from Klang Valley dusted off their running shoes to dash through the 199-acre development during its recent Fun Run 2017.

The 8km Fun Run was conducted around the township and also the development’s green lung, Central Park, thus allowing participants to imbibe the sights and sounds of nature, a distinct feature that is synonymous with Tropicana Heights. After the run, the participants feasted on the sumptuous breakfast spread while proudly wearing their finisher medals. Many of them used this opportunity to join the lucky draw which prizes included watches, iPods and mobile gadgets as the top prizes.

Tropicana Executive Director of Marketing and Sales, Ung Lay Ting said, “The fun part of this 8km run are the inflatable challenges, which injected a sense of family fun and camaraderie amongst participants. The obstacles were designed to test the vitality and dynamism of the runners while not forgetting the teamwork needed to get through the bouncy inflatables.”

As the Fun Run took participants through the scenic route, they witnessed the development of Tropicana’s latest range of affordable homes; the Tropicana Urban Homes brand collection that was introduced in July this year. This brand new collection is targeted to fill in the market gap to meet the needs of modern urbanites for quality, reasonably priced homes with easy accessibility, generous open spaces as well as good amenities and facilities. The first launch of modern apartments is slated for early next year. Over the next five years, Tropicana targets to launch over 15,000 units at the selling price typically ranging from RM300,000 to RM500,000 in strategic urban areas and Tropicana award-winning townships.

Participants were also given the rare opportunity to run along the newly opened Bandar Baru Bangi – Kajang 2 – Bandar Teknologi Kajang flyover estimated to benefit 50,000 residents in Kajang.

Commenting on the new access, Ung said, “The toll-free flyover reduces the commute time to and from Tropicana Heights. As the flyover will also connect with the Kajang 2 commuter station, this will further boosts the accessibility and connectivity of the township – a catalyst to the future vibrancy of the area. Tropicana Heights is poised to be one of the most desired addresses to have in the KL South region.”

Apart from its quality homes, Tropicana Heights’ charm lies not only on its strategic location, but also its five features, namely its 16-acre Central Park with a 750-meter linear lake, Recreational Hub, Market Square, Sports Hangouts and homes that allow residents to have access to their very own private community parks.

“Given its various conveniences located within a single development, we believe that Tropicana Heights will bring people together from within and around this development, creating larger communities where people live, bond and grow in a friendly, safe and healthy environment. It has been also designed as a safe haven where children can run free and neighbours bond, where natural living and modern city elements can co-exist in harmony,” concluded Ung.

Tropicana Heights’ latest gated and guarded enclave is Ridgefield Residences which offers 3- and 4-storey Park Villas and 3-storey Semi-Detached homes for the modern family. Given the layout options provided, Ridgefield Residences has seen encouraging take-up rates. Tropicana Heights is without a doubt a township which provides an all-encompassing wholesome lifestyle, one which residents can live by nature – everyday, everyway.
