Move over, the dull-looking factories and warehouses commonly found in many industrial parks. Edgy industrial warehouses with a lifestyle component are on a rising trend now, thanks to Mah Sing’s i-Parc series of industrial properties that ditch the old-style factory design for a trendier and friendlier layout. In a sense, these new-style warehouses have come of age and represent an “industrial revolution” of a different kind.

In recognition of Mah Sing’s cutting-edge designs that are transforming the industrial zones to become more people-friendly, the Asia Pacific Property Awards in association with Bloomberg Television has singled out i-Parc 3 @ Bukit Jelutong for the Best Industrial Development Asia Pacific 5 Star award.

Commenting on the award, Mr James Bruyns, Chief Operating Officer (Township Residential) of Mah Sing Group Berhad, said: “Being awarded at a regional level and to represent Malaysia and the Asia Pacific region on the global stage affirms our status as a premier lifestyle developer. ”

The COO added that the awards served to recognize their efforts, help in their branding and encourage them to perform better. “We shall continue working hard to increase our customer satisfaction level, enhance value, look after house buyers’ interest and up the ante on our product innovation.”

Awards galore

For the year 2011, Mah Sing has so far won 11 awards whilst in 2010, the innovative developer bagged 10 awards. On Mah Sing’s i-Parc, Bruyns said that they believe that the i-Parc series is the Group’s answer to the call for a premier lifestyle industrial product component.

The award-winning i-Parc 3 forms part of this series consisting primarily of 3-storey semi-detached corporate factories with 4-in-1 centralized function, where your factory, office, showroom and warehouse can all operate from one central location designed to increase efficiency.

Designed by Atelier ADT Akitek (Asia) Sdn Bhd, one of the “Top 10 Malaysian Architect 2011” according to BCI Asia, the semi-D factories have a modern cubic style that is clean and ultra contemporary. Facade designs remind one of a new age hub that is home to industry leaders in high tech industries, corporate headquarters or showrooms.

Located within the existing Bukit Jelutong Business and Technology Park, the freehold corporate factories boast of a double frontage onto Jalan Subang Lama and Jalan Montfort. It has the advantage of being very near to Subang Airport and has excellent connectivity to KL, PJ, KLIA and Port Klang.

Within the area, there is a large catchment of skilled workforce.

Comprising of 25 units, i-Parc 3 shares the same infrastructure and amenities as i-Parc, being only 2 km away. Since its official launch in March 2011, it has recorded more than 50% sales.

Listed on the Main Board of Bursa Malaysia, Mah Sing is Malaysia’s premier lifestyle developer with 17 years of property development expertise. Mah Sing is a well diversified and versatile developer with a strong branding in medium to high end landed residential properties, commercial projects including Grade A office buildings, offices, shops, retail and SoHo as well as industrial projects.
