In 1988, two entrepreneurs namely, Tan Sri Dato’ FD Mansor and Datuk Richard Fong, teamed up to start Glomac Bhd (Glomac). It’s very first development, Taman Jasa Utama was a low cost scheme in Selayang, Selangor. Today, the group has more than 30 subsidiaries and is involved in every facet of real estate including property development, construction, property investment and property management.

In year 2000, Glomac was listed on the Main Board of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad. Since then, the group has been pushing the envelope, developing bigger and more ambitious projects. Commercial Developments

Glomac Damansara is a freehold development comprising a 15-storey office block, five- and eight-storey shop offices, serviced apartments, boutique retail and office suites, and a corporate tower in Kuala Lumpur. Currently available for sale is its first phase, comprising the 15-storey office block and the five- and eight-storey shop/offices.

Marrying modern materials with tropical charms, the impressive office block is set to be an iconic building with its suit of steel and glass. Meanwhile, the shop offices are most suitable for businesses such as retail and food and beverage with its enhanced frontage designs and double volume spaces.

Located in Cyberjaya, Selangor, is Glomac Cyberjaya, an eight acre commercial development offering a total of 63 units of 3-storey shop offices and 15-storey office block strategically placed in the centre of its Flagship Zone. Meanwhile in Sri Hartamas, one will find Glomac Galleria, an RM89.5 million shop office project currently in progress. Already completed with certificate of fitness are two projects namely Plaza Glomac and Plaza Kelana Jaya.


One of Glomac’s most famed townships, Bandar Saujana Utama, is up to 80 per cent developed with a current population of more than 30,000. Its latest launch, Lavender Homes, comprises double-storey terrace homes with a sleek and modern façade. Inside, one will find practical layouts with a spacious kitchen and double-volume dining area. Priced from RM252,800, there are only limited units left.

Also within the same township is Rafflesia Homes, semi-D cluster homes to be launched in the third quarter of 2009. Other products available in the township include the third phase of Regal Homes and SU Mall.

Open for registration is Sri Saujana, a township in Johor offering homes such as Sapphire and Sri Casuarina. Come home to a lush 20-acre recreational park and panoramic lake where your sanctuary rests within a healthy living environment. Immersed in abundant greenery, each spacious unit invites natural light and fresh air to enrich your lifestyle every day.

At Sri Casuarina, limited one storey corner units in 20’ x 70’ lots are available. They each have a minimum built-up area of 1,100 sq ft from RM183,100 onwards. Meanwhile, at the Sapphire, bungalow homes  have a massive land size of 5,555 sq ft with a minimum built-up area of 1,423 sq ft. They are priced from RM361,500 onwards.

Also open for registration are double-storey 20’ x 70’ terrace homes (Phase 7A) that sells from RM190,000 onwards and also double-storey 25’ x 75’ shop offices (Phase 5F) from RM380,000 onwards.

Over at Rawang, one will find Saujana Rawang, Glomac’s third township development. Available for sale are two types of homes namely, Amoda superlink homes and Amana 2 double-storey terrace homes. Priced from RM260,000 (after Bumiputra discount), Amoda homes come with built-ups of 1,940 sq ft on lots of 24ft by 75 ft. Amana 2 meanwhile, offers homes sized 1,453 sq ft on lots of 22ft by 70ft. These homes begin at RM218,500 after Bumiputra discount.

Residential Properties

Set against the backdrop of the Hulu Langat Forest Reserve in Cheras is Suria Residen. Boasting lush green landscapes and a recreational lake, Suria Residen offers a quiet, peaceful and tranquil living environment. Serenity, double-storey semi-Ds, offers spacious homes with built-ups of 3,010 sq ft and 3,014 sq ft.

Located in the mature township of Bandar Baru Bangi is Seri Bangi, Glomac’s maiden project in the Bangi locality. A privatisation project between Glomac and PKNS, the project takes up 28.5 acres in Section 8, Bandar Baru Bangi. Offering a wide range of products – from shop offices to terrace homes – the township has been enjoying overwhelming response with all of its shops sold out within a day of its soft launch in January last year. Meanwhile, the take up rate of its double storey terraces currently stand at a hundred per cent. In view of the immense popularity, registration for future launches is now open.
