Nothing beats the feeling of walking into a clean and tidy home at the end of the day where everything’s in order and not a speck of dust is found. Sadly, homes don’t clean after themselves and most of the time it’s up to us to upkeep the home so it doesn’t look run down, unless, of course, you can afford to hire a cleaner to do the job.

We know, cleaning the toilet and mopping the floor is probably the last thing you want to do on your to-do list. While most house chores are not difficult to tackle, they are certainly not fun either. Who would rather spend the entire Saturday afternoon cleaning when they could be Netflix and chilling?

Still, your house needs to be cleaned regularly unless you don’t mind living in a less-than-ideal environment. Don’t worry though, even the most daunting of house chores can be tolerable if you have the right cleaning kit with you. Here are 11 cleaning supplies that will have your home sparkling in no time.

1. Multi-purpose cleaner

As suggested in its name, the multi-purpose cleaner is so versatile, it can clean almost every surface of your home, from kitchen countertops to anything stainless steel or glass. These multi-purpose cleaners come in chemical-free options as well if you prefer to clean your home the “green” way.

For days when you’re feeling a little slothful, just power up the vacuum cleaner to keep the floor debris-free. It’s effortless and it does the job twice as fast as the broom. You should invest in a good one that’s light enough to be carried and has a suction head that’s small enough to reach hard-to-reach spots.

7. Bathroom cleaner

Let’s face it, nobody likes cleaning the bathroom, but it’s something that we have to do on a regular basis or it’ll become a breeding ground for bacteria. This is where the bathroom cleaner comes in. They cut through all kinds of grime and soap scum that’s found on the ring around the tub and more to give your bathroom a glistering finish.

8. Spray bottle

Keep a spray bottle in your cleaning kit at all times, you never know when you need to rinse something off with water. It also comes in handy when you need to mix your own cleaning solutions.
