The singer and her love Simon Konecki first purchased the Art Deco property in 2012 for £2.5 million. The couple renovated the four-bedroom home which now features a plush kitchen and double-height atrium.
The master suite in the two-storey home has a large walk-in wardrobe and a dressing room.
The home is situated near a pebble beach on a stretch of road locals refer to as millionaire’s row. This private road has been home to celebrities such as Heather Mills (Paul McCartney’s ex), Zoe Ball and DJ Fat Boy Slim as well as David Walliams.
The Portslade sale comes just months after the privacy-conscious singer purchased a home in Hidden Valley, Beverly Hills.
That secretive sale took place in early April, when Adele reportedly forked out $US9.5 million for the property.
Adele, who splits her time between the sunny California and her home in the UK, uses the Hidden Valley property as her US base.
The Hidden Valley mansion was first put up for sale last September at $US10.75million, with the price being slashed to $US9.99 million one month later.
The house was then delisted just before Christmas.
Adele snagged the home in a private sale at a bargain price, paying $US1.25 million less than it was originally listed for in 2015.
The mansion is over 600sqm, in the same star-studded neighbourhood as Cameron Diaz, Nicole Richie, Joel Madden, Jennifer Lawrence, Jamie Foxx, Ellen DeGeneres, Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis.
In a gated community, and behind its own large stone wall, privacy from the paparazzi was a major selling point for the mother of one.
The comfortable four-bedroom, six-bathroom property will be shared with Konecki and their three-year-old son Angelo.
The house features a library, two formal living rooms for entertaining and a spare room for a gym. The property also has high ceilings and oak floorboards.
There’s also plenty of space for a grand piano – which could potentially be the source for more number one hits…get your tissues ready.
It boasts a large outdoor dining area, a pool, gazebo, tree house and outdoor train-set for her family to enjoy.
Adele’s property portfolio – which includes homes in London, Sussex and Malibu – was earlier this year estimated to be worth $US23 million.
