Breese by Milieu is a collection of 1, 2 and 3-bedroom apartments designed by DKO Architecture and Brunswick locals Breathe Architecture.

Inspired by other local, sensitively designed projects, Breese Street will naturally advocate sustainable living.
Fossil fuel-free, with a 7.9-star sustainability rating and a maximum of five neighbours per floor, it’s a building designed for a daily life in easy synergy with our environment.

Breese Street’s residents will form a genuine community, one where neighbours connect – this time not over the fence, but while tending veggies on the rooftop. We’re aiming for back-to-basics conversation and cooperation in future-focused, proactive communal spaces.

The design of Breese Street includes community feedback via Milieu’s Liveability Survey. The answers have informed some of the design signatures such as pragmatic apartment layouts and communal rooftop garden, while the architecture draws on Brunswick’s local contact and contemporary village character to inform the building anatomy and materiality.

Breese Street has been conceptualised with sustainability at its core.
This philosophy extends to the finishes and interior of each apartment; ranging from the sustainable palette of recycled timber flooring, brick and terrazzo to the selection of induction cooktops instead of gas.

Upon construction, Breese by Milieu will join leading projects to set a global standard for sustainable multi-residential living.
