Finding a place to rent in Kuala Lumpur can be an exciting and frustrating experience at the same time. The property boom in the last decade has seen both high-rise and landed developments sprouting everywhere.

The choices (and rentals) can be bewildering. Rental in popular hotspots and desirable addresses in Kuala Lumpur such as Bangsar, Mont Kiara, Bukit Bintang, KLCC and Ampang can easily go northwards of RM5,000. However, the property market slump in the last few years has seen leverage shift gradually to potential tenants, in terms of negotiating for the best rental.

Shop around and you might find some good units for rent in central Kuala Lumpur for less than you might think. Below are some areas that you could consider:-

Public transportation nearby includes the Plaza Rakyat RapidKL LRT station and Imbi and Hang Tuah monorail stations. It also has relatively spacious units.
