“The thing I love most is waking up to my wife,” shares Nian King, founder of Yeefu and SaltyCustoms.
Their typical morning in their home in Damansara Perdana starts with a quick exercise, meditation, and having breakfast together before heading out to work. “We try our best to have dinner together about two to three times a week,” explains
King adds, “That’s why the living room is my favourite part of the house. We spend a lot of time here having family discussions or you know just to talk and unwind after a long day.”
As for Adeline Chin, founder of The Silk Fairy, the property’s best feature is the high windows. “I loved that we get plenty of natural sunlight because of the high windows.”
King chimes, “The moment you open up all the windows and the sliding doors, you get a cool breeze blowing in and it feels like you’re waking up in a destination home. That’s why I love, waking up in Damansara Perdana.”
They get the perfect half city, half forest/mountain view of Damansara Perdana, which lends the area an almost industrial look.
Damansara Perdana’s unique blend of nature and city inspired the couple to incorporate a modern rustic look to their home.
“I love neutral colours such as light grey, beige, white, and solid wood. My husband wanted to incorporate some fun elements into it, that why we added some pop of colours and some fun decoration pieces to make it more interesting, shares Chin.
