MTT Properties & Development Sdn Bhd

BOTANICA.CT township development started in 2006, when 300 acres of land was acquired by MTT Properties & Development Sdn Bhd in 2005. Botanica.CT is located along the banks of Sungai Air Putih in the district of Balik Pulau, situated on the South-West region of Penang Island. Botanica.CT is a garden township slated for development over 9 phases of carefully-planned two to three-storey terrace homes and bungalows, including apartments and a commercial zone to make this a retirement-friendly enclave.

Botanica.CT is moving towards its development to commercial precinct called Botanica CT Centre. This development will see the construction of an 80,000-sq.ft. Hypermarket, to be anchor-tenanted by TF Value-Mart Sdn. Bhd. There will also be two drive thru restaurants, namely KFC and Starbucks Coffee. Other components include a Botanica.CT Sales Gallery and 18 units of 2-storey shop offices. Notably TF Value-Mart, which is the first large-scale hypermarket in Balik Pulau, and two drive thru outlets KFC and Starbucks are first drive-thru concept in this area. Once a sleepy town in Penang, Balik Pulau is set to shed that image and turn into a vibrant business entity once the first integrated commercial development in Botanica CT centre is completed.
