PUCHONG: LBS Bina Group Berhad showcased its Nautilus concept home at D’ Island Residence here recently.
The launch of this three-storey superlink concept home officially opened its doors for homebuyers and the public to tour the luxury Nordic-style residence for the first time.
The launch, attended by stakeholders and members of the public, was officiated by LBS Managing Director, Dato’ Lim Hock San, with Malaysian Building Society Berhad (MBSB) President and CEO, Dato’ Ahmad Zaini Othman in attendance.

“Launching Nautilus is yet another milestone achieved by LBS and was made possible by our long-standing relationship with MBSB.
"I extend my gratitude to Dato’ Ahmad Zaini Othman as his support and partnership has enabled LBS to continue contributing towards the growth of the Malaysian property sector,” commented LBS Managing Director Datuk Lim Hock San at the launch ceremony.
An agreement between MBSB and LBS was signed on 1 March, 2012 which granted LBS a financing facility totalling RM124.6 million. The funds which were directed towards financing the construction works of D’ Island Residence saw a total of RM81.6 million allocated to the Nautilus phase.
Officially launched in September 2011, D’ Island Residence, LBS’s flagship high-end development, is set on 175 acres of natural terrain surrounded by a 1,000 acre lake.
“We want to give homebuyers the best of both worlds by providing this island paradise with modern-day facilities. We aim to give homebuyers a unique living experience here at Nautilus,” explained Datuk Lim.
Nautilus is the fourth phase of D’ Island Residence to be launched. The first phase, Apicalia, consisting 122 units of three-storey superlink homes was launched in April 2011 and is already fully sold.
D’ Island Residence’s second phase, the three-storey semi-detached Balvia, limited at only 28 units, is already 68 per cent sold, while the third phase comprising 42 units of bungalow lots valued at RM250 per sq ft is more than 75 per cent sold.
Nautilus comprises a total of 115 units. 70 per cent of the first parcel comprising 20 units open for registration has already been sold.
Comprising superlinks, semi-detached and bungalows, D’ Island Residence has an estimated Gross Development Value of RM3.6 billion and is expected to take five to seven years to complete.
