KUALA LUMPUR: iProperty Group announced yesterday that iProperty.com Malaysia's year-to-date results show a significant increase in the number of unique visitors, visits and page impressions.
YOY results show that unique visitors have increased by 28%, from 837,729 in April 2011 to 1,064,135 in April 2012.
The number of visits to the site has also improved by 54% to 2,881,829 in April this year, with page impressions jumping 25% to 26,398,551.
"iProperty.com Malaysia continues to strengthen its position in the market, thanks to the Group’s relentless focus on growth through innovation and execution of a clear strategy.
"With these strong results, the website continues to widen the gap between its competitors and dominate the market,” said Shaun Di Gregorio, iProperty Group CEO.
Di Gregorio also added that leads to the site increased by 30% while listings on the website saw a 47% jump. These resulted in a 29% increase in the number of searches generated on the site as well.
"The number of paying agents who advertise on the portal also grew by a whopping 43% within the year. Consumer subscription also increased significantly by more than 50%,” added Di Gregorio.
iProperty.com Malaysia has also been ranked the world’s third most dominant portal by Property Portal Watch, above local competitors PropertyGuru.com and Propwall.com.
Di Gregorio also announced that iProperty.com Malaysia’s publication was awarded the No.1 property magazine of the year for the third year running by Advertising + Marketing magazine.
