About to invest in Housing property
Category : Buying Property in Malaysia Location : Malacca My wife is a government servant. She would like to make use of the housing loan benefit (4%) to buy a house. The question is : 1) Is it worth to buy a house for investment purpose ? 2) Since the inrest rate offered from most of the private banks are at around 4.5% is it worthwhile to get the government loan ( considering a flat rate of 4%) ? 3) i have done a simple calculation. If I make loan of RM100K for 25 years , after 25 years, total amount to be paid will be at around double the pricipal amount. So is it a smart move to invest in property , or channel the money to invest in unit trust ? Need your financial expert to advsie teh above. Thanks !
