Viewing properties from an environology feng shui perspective, selection of the location comes first
Landform principles
Live Qi of the land mass moves along the ranges of mountains and extend to hills and flat land.
The higher and bigger the mountain, the greater the force it exerts downwards and sideways. This exertion of energy is inexhaustible, continuous and cumulative. As it pushes downwards and sideways, the energy is transferred through solid matter in the mountain.
This energy transference is conducted through matter of similar rigidity and – according to one of the Laws of Thermodynamics – from a higher energy level to a lower energy level.
This Live Qi energy will disperse when it is conducted into air, wind or void. Where it is contained in soil, it will be stopped by rivers or ponds. Rivers and ponds contain water which has a different rigidity; hence the transfer of energy will be stopped. This energy will bounced back; accumulate with the continuous on coming energy formed as a strong homogenous source of energy.
Feng shui literally means wind and water. The term “Feng Shui” originates directly from this fundamental theory and is not mentioned anywhere else in ancient texts. The whole idea of Feng Shui revolves around conserving this Live Qi using our understanding of its behaviour and response to wind and water.
The whole idea of Feng shui is to stop, accumulate, trap and keep this Live Qi. This Live Qi is then tapped.

In Feng shui terms, mountain ranges are often described as dragons. It is not difficult to see how an undulating highland resembles a mythical Chinese dragon. Thus, Feng shui practitioners would look for the “dragon” when they evaluate a piece of property.
Ideally, the mountains should branch out to form embracing arms. These arms generally have different lengths, and from high up in space, one will probably observe that it looks more like a thumb and forefinger encircling a flat piece of land.
Embracing arms have the tendency to act like a parabolic dish of some kind and pool energy in the middle. They also shield the area from strong winds that can dissipate this energy pool.

Concave Pools
Land within the embracing arms contains a endless supply of energy. If such energy can be stopped and be stored it is then considered homogenous, which in Feng Shui term mentioned as Live Qi. To be able to achieve this there need to have river(s)/ pond(s) to stop the Live Qi from dispersing or escaping.
The Peak, near Tmn Len Seng & Tmn Connaught
In its natural formation the property – The Peak has all the ingredients. The whole project is within the natural embracing arms. Towards the mouth of the embracing arms there are two landscaped ponds. The bigger pond has an ‘W’ shape embracing inward and the outer one is horizontal to the property. This embracing arms of the Peak formed a bag-like (bag of precious metal).
