Responsibilities:
Develop a long-term SEO strategy for iProperty.com with the goal of increasing global search engine traffic to iProperty.com sites.
Execute both off-page and on page SEO against this strategy to meet or exceed quarterly targets and milestones.
Manage the process of sourcing and developing genuinely useful landing pages to get indexed on search engines, with the end-goal of providing a great experience for users who are searching for these topics on Google, Yahoo! or Bing.
Manage the optimisation of core content that currently exists on the site in order to drive not just top search phrases but also the long tail.
Conceive, document and drive the creation of new product features that improve the experience for users landing on our pages from search engines.
Constantly improve SEO strategy by leveraging new and emerging technologies, business practices, and search engine algorithm changes.
Successful candidates:
Minimum 3 years of SEO experience
Extensive knowledge of search engine algorithms and SEO best practices.
Strong understanding of site optimization for search engines and link building expertise.
Strong analytical, organizational and leadership skills is a must
Good understanding of HTML, CSS, and web server environments
High attention to detail, and ability to effectively manage multiple projects
Ability to work independently and analyze large amounts of data while meeting tight deadlines
Experience using Google Analytics, Webmaster Tools, Yahoo! Site Explorer, and other industry standard SEO tools
Degree in Computer Science or related field is a bonus
