Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Working with the editor, produce editorial content for monthly magazine, websites and marketing materials
  • Assist to manage the publishing process from manuscript to printed book for monthly property magazine
  • Conceptualise features, cover styles, design templates, editorial voice and style sheets
  • Effectively plan and manage production schedules
  • Work with various stakeholders in the publishing process including sales personnel and designers
  • Edit manuscripts and page proofs
  • Develop and execute news content for websites
  • Write, edit and manage web content and other marketing collaterals

    • Successful candidates:

  • Superb written and spoken communication skills in English
  • Experience in a similar capacity, and track record of successfully managing and putting together high quality publications
  • Ability to plan and work to deadline

    Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of graphics/design experience in publishing or ad agency
  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign CS3
  • Knowledge of HTML and Flash will be an advantage
  • Demonstrated skills in art direction and design, including, but not limited to, design and layout of editorial content, design and resizing of ads for clients and internal use when required
  • Familiar with CTP printing processes and able to liaise with printers
